Connect the phone to your computer via the data cable. 2. Download the phone unlocking software

3. Once you have downloaded the software, extract the zip file into a folder. If you do not have winzip, get it for free at
www.winzip.com.
4. Run the NokiaFREE_Calc file by clicking it (file has a happy face logo on it). 5. Enter the IMEI number for your phone in the "IMEI" field (see the "unlock cell phone" FAQ on the Home Page if you don't know how to do this). 6. Enter all other necessary information such as: Make: Select the make of your phone from the drop down list (should say "Nokia" since you're unlocking a Nokia) 7. Now hit the "Calculate" button! 8. You should receive several unlock codes. 9. Remove the SIM card from your phone, and type the codes generated. The codes must be 15 digits. 10. To get the 'p', 'w', or '+' symbols, press the "*" key on your keypad several times until the appropriate symbol appears. NOTE: You only have five tries in which to enter the codes, after that, your phone will be locked and you'll need to use a cable solution!
